The pandemic has largely disrupted our life in the last two years, hence we are starting the academic year with the hope of a safe return to the traditional form of work and study. In accordance with the current recommendations of the Ministry of Education and Science, we would like to provide each of you with direct contact with the university, as well as restore academic life without fear. We do not forget, however, that the threat of the coronavirus still exists. Modern medicine defines vaccinations as the most effective form of combating infectious diseases. This spring, we successfully carried out a vaccination campaign against Sars-Cov-2 for students, PhD students and employees.
Currently, to meet the expectations of the academic community we offer the opportunity to be vaccinated on the campus of the Poznan University of Technology in the first days of October. I sincerely encourage all of you to participate in the vaccination with the single-dose of Johnson & Johnson vaccine on the selected date:
- 6th of October, Wednesday
- 8th of October, Friday
- 13th of October, Wednesday
- 15th of October, Friday
between 9 am and 2 pm.
Meet us at the mobile vaccination point next to the entrance to building A1 (with a clock). All you need to do is bring your ID, fill in the questionnaire and take one dose of the vaccine. There are no prior registrations. Most of us are already vaccinated, but let this offer be an opportunity to encourage those hesitating. I do hope for the positive reception of this action.
With best wishes,
Prof. Agnieszka Misztal,
Vice-Rector for Student Affairs and Education
Coordinator for vaccination against Covid-19
