The inaugural concert of the 16th Folk Art Festival took place on 10th of August. The concert took place in the building of the Faculty of Architecture and the Faculty of Engineering Management at the Poznan University of Technology.

The following arists performed on stage: 

• Folk Dance Group of the Poznan University of Technology "Poligrodzianie" 
• Rangsagar Performing Arts - India 
• Alma Zahori Costa Rica - Costa Rica 
• Bursa Uludag University Folk Dance Group - Türkiye 
• FLOUR D'INMOURTALO - France 
• Folk Dance Ensemble NEOGALAKTIKA - Ukraine
• Ballet Folclorico Raices Nuevas - Argentina. 

The Folk Art Festival popularizes international folklore and works to sustain it tradition in a way that will be accessible to viewers of all ages. The essence of the Festival is action for tolerance and understanding for other nationalities, in order to build awareness of local society. Admission to the events is free.
