On March 22-24, 2022, students and lecturers from the University of Mons (UMONS) visited the Faculty of Computing and Telecommunications.
UMONS is a partner university of the Poznan University of Technology in the frame of EUNICE European University project. The guests from the University of Mons participated in joint classes with a group of Cybersecurity students. The program of activities is carried out as part of virtual meetings in international groups. The issues that students deal with include the security of IoT (Internet of Things) systems, securing the physical layer and the network layer within IoT systems, as well as creating secure web applications for these systems.
During the classes, the design of the IoT system and its vulnerability assessment were planned. The implementation of tasks includes the use of electronic devices. And the project also assumes risk assessment and development of system protection in terms of cybersecurity.
