A ceremonial Academic Sports Gala was held at the Trops student club, summing up the academic games in Wielkopolska. The best university in the academic year 2021/22 was the Poznan University of Technology, which won the general classification ahead of the Poznan University of Life Sciences and the Adam Mickiewicz University of Poznan.

We returned to first place in the general classification after a one-year break. The Poznan University of Technology students competed in almost 60 competitions in the frame of the Academic Championships in Poznan and Wielkopolska, in which they won 12, and these were: cross-country running for men, women's bowling, 3x3 basketball, women's and men's snowboarding, women's and men's shooting, women's and men's tennis, floorball, climbing.

The awards were presented by, among others, prof. Teofil Jesionowski - Rector of the Poznan University of Technology and prof. Paweł Śniatała, Vice-Rector for International Relations.
